Small Groups
Why Small Groups Are Part Of Our Community
The New Testament calls Christians to a commitment to live an open, transparent life together on purpose. As we live life in community with other believers true "church" happens. Here's some thing that might happen during small group time:
-
Worship - a time of celebrating and praising God for what He has done, is doing, and will do.
-
Fellowship - a time of connecting with others in the group, possibly with snacks!
-
Sharing - a time of proclaiming what God has done and is doing in our lives.
-
Intercession - a time of approaching the throne of God in prayer for the people in our lives.
-
Learning - a time of digging into the Word of God to hear what he has to say to us. (using the Bible, books, video studies)
-
Healing - a time of ministry to each other where we are set free from things that may keep us from going deeper with God.
-
Serving - a time of helping each other or people who may not be a part of the group. This is a practical way of sharing God's love.
-
Fun - there's always time for some fun!
