Small Groups

Why Small Groups Are Part Of Our Community

The New Testament calls Christians to a commitment, to live an open transparent life together on purpose. As we live life in community with other believers this is where true "church" happens. Things that might happen at a weekly small group time would be...

  • Worship - a time of celebrating and praising God for what He has done, is doing and will do.

  • Fellowship - a time of connecting with others in the group possibly over coffee and a snack.

  • Sharing - a time of proclaiming what God has done and is doing in our lives.

  • Intercession - a time of approaching the throne of God with petitions and standing in the gap for people in our lives.

  • Learning - a time of digging into the Word of God to hear what he has to say to us. (using the Bible, books, video studies)

  • Healing - a time of ministry to each other where we are set free of anything that may keep us from going deeper with God.

  • Serving - a time of helping each other or people who may not be a part of the group. This is a practical way of sharing Gods love with each other and others.

  • Fun - a time of laughing together and enjoying life by playing games, having outings and sometimes just hanging out together.
